“I’m calling to report my neighbor Yankel Rabinovitz as an enemy of the State. He is hiding undeclared diamonds in his firewood.”
“This will be noted.”
Next day, the KGB goons come over to Rabinovitz’s house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept, break every piece of wood, find no diamonds, swear at Yankel Rabinovitz and leave.
The phone rings at Rabinovitz’s house.
“Hello, Yankel! Did the KGB come?”
“Yes.”
“Did they chop your firewood?”
“Yes, they did.”
“Okay, now it’s your turn to call. I need my vegetable patch plowed.”
This is a fictional discussion between two characters, on philosophy, by Scott Adams. You know, the Dilbert guy. I think I agree with everything he says here. It’s about 150 pages, but it’s a super easy read, if you’ve got a flexible mind.
One argument in the security community is that lack of diversity is itself vulnerability. For example, the two dominant browsers, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer, are used by approximately 95 percent of Internet users. What security risk does this control of the market introduce? Suppose there were three (each with a significant share of the market). What three negate that security risk?
I think this is a very interesting question and would like to see your responses?
Was browsing tonight because I have nothing better to do than to search everything CISSP while I wait for my results from the CISSP exam I took last Sunday. Much to my dismay, I came across one of your articles about CISSP and whether it holds any validity. And here I naively thought that once I had obtained this cert the magical doors of opportunity would open up to any government job I wanted. The article I read was thought provoking and the comments left were equally so. I looked around the rest of your site and was thoroughly impressed. I see I still have a lot to learn and appreciate the obvious time and attention that went in to maintaining this site. You have a new fan. Thanks again,
Katie Avril

Hi all,
One of my assignment question is:
